John C. Clark earned his Bachelor of Business Degree from Western Illinois University. He served in the US Army Military Police, after which he began his career with Caterpillar, where he advanced through various Finance and Marketing positions in the United States and Latin America. John was Finance Manager for Caterpillar in Mexico throughout the 1980's where he experienced first-hand the drastic Peso devaluation of 1982 and the subsequent debt renegotiations and restructurings of that period. He began his acquaintance with almacenadoras as an effective way to provide inventory support to the Caterpillar dealer organization. |

John is fluent in Spanish. He lived a number of years in Mexico City and Monterrey. With wife and son, he currently makes his home in Houston, Texas. John maintains professional memberships in the Warehousing Education and Research Council, Council of Logistics Management and The InterAmerican Chamber of Commerce. |
